They Cage the Animals at Night Chapter Vocabulary Matching quizzes

This thirteen pg. document consists of VOCABULARY quizzes for the chapters in the book, They Cage the Animals at Night. The questions are matching questions in groups of five. They are designed to be completed as the book is read. After completing the questions as they read, they can be given the next day as a quiz to check for comprehension. This is a "non-put-downer" book that every one will love. It is an autobiographical story about five brothers who handle life's terrible situations in a variety of ways. This book teaches students to be empathetic to those less fortunate and to handle what life throws at them in a productive, successful way. It can also be used as a read at home unit.
