This Hungry For Change (2012) Documentary Movie Guide in Spanish | Español | Health resource challenges students to digest the plethora of information presented in this health and diet documentary. Explore how monosodium glutamate (MSG), aspartame and high-fructose corn syrup affects (HFCS) the human body and how it is hidden throughout food items. Ask students to search their house or the grocery store and find food items that contain these harmful food additives.
Personal Note: This is another one of those health documentaries that all students should be exposed to since they probably won’t read about these issues in their traditional curriculum.
This resource consists of 11 high-level, short answer and essay questions that will do more than just ask your students to regurgitate information.
