TI-Nspire CAS Widget: Gradient and Y-Intercept, Interpolation and Extrapolation

Designed to work with CAS TI-Nspire calculators (CX and CXII), this file is a quick and easy way to find the gradient and y-intercept for linear equations (in page 1.1) and complete interpolation and extrapolation questions (in page 1.2).

Specifically created for the VCE General Maths Units 1 - 4 study design, save this file to your CAS to save minutes of working out during SACs and exams.

Tips to upload onto CAS:

1. Download file from TES and unzip
2. Ensure one of the following programs is downloaded to your device:

• TI-Nspire™ CX CAS Student Software
• TI-Nspire™ CX CAS Computer Link Software
• TI-Nspire™ CX CAS Student Software 30-day Trial

1. Open software, and click following: Document Toolbox → Content Explorer
2. Find .tns file from downloads (on Computer), and copy and paste onto CAS (on Connected Handhelds)
3. Open file on CAS through: Documents → Browse → Linear Equations
4. DO NOT SAVE FILE AFTER USE. THIS WILL MAKE IT INACCESSIBLE FOR FUTURE USE
