The idea of this activity is that children work in pairs to learn their times tables even if they are at different places in their learning of them.
The first slide of the PPT has a detailed description of how this works. It is suitable for all children who are learning their X tables, no matter which ones they are learning. Children can easily work in mixed ability pairs.
It can be used as a starter or as a stand alone activity.
