This bundle contains a scheme of work on each of the transactional tasks for the WJEC specification. The lessons are designed to improve students’ metacognition skills. There is an emphasis on teaching the required skills individually and encouraging students to plan, monitor and evaluate their learning and progress. This was designed based on the EEF’s metacognition guidance report and is one of the highest impact/lowest implementation cost strategies in the EEF toolkit.
