This pack for upper KS2 provides excellent preparation for the upcoming SATS test and includes the text, question paper and answers.
The question paper provides children with a mixture of multiple choice, short answer and inference/comprehension activities all complete with answers that would be great to use as a whole class preparation session or even as part of a guided reading activity.
Aimed at upper key stage 2 classes to boost comprehension skills.
Layout style is very similar to a SATS paper.
How I use the resource:
- Let children to read text independently and identify words that may need explaining further.
- As a class, discuss new vocabulary and allow children to use dictionary if they prefer to work independently.
- Answering question - encourage children to underline or highlight parts of the text to support their answers.
- Mark / go through questions together as a class.
