Enable pupils to develop their understanding of anti-human trafficking through the true stories of Lydia, Fredek and Tee - survivors of modern slavery.

These three lessons are designed to support your pupils to address this challenging topic in an accessible way and can be used separately or as part of a series of lessons. True Story equips teachers to facilitate discussion and action against injustice, to help pupils consider their basic needs, be part of community groups and develop resilience. The aim is to encourage personal reflection, action planning or working towards wider school projects to raise awareness.

The Salvation Army provides specialist support to protect and care for all adult survivors of modern slavery in England and Wales.
