I instruct the students to read and highlight key words first. Then on a post it note jot down key words/concepts to help them form their PEEL’s. Then without notes they produce a PEEL in 1 colour and on completion create the same PEEL but this time they have access to their class notes and use a different colour, so they can compare.
The booklet includes the marking scheme for activity 1 and lots of top tips.
