Unofficial exam paper for AS Level Psychology Research Methods, 6th set [24 marks]

I have written a set of unofficial exam papers for the Research Methods section of the exams. This is the 6th set.

The stimulus for this one a correlational study investigating the relationship between age and time spent on social media.

There are 24 marks as per the real exam and students should be allocated 30 minutes to complete it.

The comprehensive mark scheme allows for easy marking and peer marking.

This paper tests:

• Sampling
• Identification of the Research Method
• Hypothesis writing
• Ethical issues
• Dealing with ethical issues
• Displaying results in an appropriate graph
• Interpretation of the graph
• Calculation of the range
• External Validity
