Unseen Poetry- Multiple resources

Powerpoint and resources focused on teaching pupils how to approach the GCSE EDUQAS Unseen Poetry Assessment. Resources can be used for up to four lessons.
Includes:

• Guiding pupils to understand the mark scheme and what is required in order to meet the higher bands.
• Analysis and comparison of the unseen poems, ‘Nettles’ by Vernon Scannell and ‘Catrin’ by Gillian Clarke.
• Band 5 example responses for both the question 1 analysis of ‘Nettles’ and question 2 comparison of ‘Nettles’ and ‘Catrin’.
• Opportunities for pupils to reflect on written responses and redraft in response to feedback.
