Unseen Poetry Booklet aimed at year 9/10 starting to prepare for their English Literature GCSE but suitable for year 11 also.

Made with the AQA exam in mind but adaptable for other exam boards.

Building up from the basics gradually to teach pupils how to approach unseen poems. The lessons start with focuses of meaning, speakers, language etc. until the final two lessons which break down how to approach an exam question.

3 weeks (12 hour-long lessons) of work in this booklet. The lessons are clearly structured with numbered tasks, model answers and examples. Fully resourced with a range of poems used from a range of different poets. Suitable for home learning.
