An 8-lesson SoW teaching Verbatim Theatre (our lessons are 2 hours - so this would easily fit 16 shorter lessons).
Students learn how to interview and transcribe, research, and create theatre collaboratively. There is a brief introduction to Paper Birds and their creative process. The unit culminates in a devised performance about different Hong Kongers experience of the pandemic (my students chose this topic - we live in Hong Kong - but the resources can be easily adapted to fit any other topic of your choosing).
