Fun for all the family! This lesson is designed to suit Y7/8 Historians but could easily be adapted to suit Y9 too. This little package includes a presentation including information, video clip, starts, 3 main activities and a plenary, some class discussion topics, some 'thinking hat' activities and much more! I've included the worksheets and sources needed to run the lesson - as well as separate learning objectives so that students can stick them into their books and check them off at the designated 'learning checkpoints'. There are challenge tasks throughout and the main activity is differentiated into three learning levels. Elements of visual, kinaesthetic and auditory learning activities so hopefully this one ticks all of the boxes! The content is about what it was like for a Victorian child to work in a Victorian factory, it touches on class differences and the laws that were passed. It also includes some GCSE style exam practice! And breathe! Enjoy!
