This is a context lesson on Victorian Society that I used to help introduce Dickens' A Christmas Carol, however it can be used to accompany most Victorian texts.

This lesson consists of a carousel activity in which students record information for five areas of Victorian Society:
- Public Health Campaign
- The Poor Law
- Electoral Reform
- Education
- Charities vs. Self Help

In this lesson, you will be provided with:
- PowerPoint (with notes on slides).
- Lesson Plan.
- Carousel Sheets (in the five areas listed above)
- Investigation Sheet
- Exit ticket which reviews students' learning
