Visual Support for Brushing your Teeth

This pack contains a variety of visual support and activities to promote good oral hygiene routines with children and adults who find sequencing challenging. The pack includes a poster to keep by the sink, a checklist, flashcards, a mini flip chart, a colour in page and a cut and stick sequencing worksheet. I get the kids in class to use an old toothbrush to brush the paint onto the tooth colour in worksheet to encourage brushing in circular motions and ensure the whole tooth is cleaned. I laminate the mini flip chart and add double sided Velcro to the bottom of each flap that the kids close over when they have completed each step successfully.
