Wages (Hourly, Weekly and Annual Salary)

This activity involves working backwards and forwards in order to find the missing information for each job. It works by matching pairs. Print the Wages document, cut out the rectangles (10 with pictures, 10 without). Learners have to match the job title to the picture. The pictures have the number of hours worked per week and the job title has either the hourly rate of pay, the weekly wage or annual salary. Pupils then have to work out the remaining 2 (of hourly, weekly or annual). This activity is based at National 3 (Managing Money & Data) and Intermediate 1 levels in Scotland.
