A useful lesson starter and class task on the D Day landings. Students are given a selection of images and they must first try to work out what is going on in each (all images from WikiCommons). Then, after a class discussion, they need to try to put them in the correct order. Once finished, they can try to match them up and rearrange the events on the PowerPoint presentation, before sticking/writing into their books.
A map of the D Day landings has also been included, to be used alongside the questions from the PowerPoint. This is a useful introduction to D Day and can be used as a springboard for further tasks.
