I created this original Wellbeing Journal to structure a Wellness Curriculum that I am delivering to my 16-25 year-old college groups. The journal follows-on from the highly popular Mindfulness Curriculum that I produced seven years ago pre-pandemic. I feel that times have changed though, hence - this offering. It is organised in a way that displays one session (or page) per topic - so the idea is that you’d deliver one topic per week over the course of the full college year. That said, the resource could also be incorporated with older school groups too. In terms of level, I have pitched the booklet at around Entry Level 3. It will present enough challenge for Level 1’s too. The journal presents what I believe to be very important learning matter for young people in today’s society. It is a manual, if you like, on how to develop the coping skills needed in this fast-paced, high-stress modern world.
Please note - although I have devised the booklet for your use / printing, etc, I do not own the accompanying meditations or accompanying resources that I bring into these sessions. For instance, there are videos and pdfs on the MIND website that I draw upon that I do not claim to be under my authorship. Where possible though, I will do my best to signpost you to the external links where I found the worksheets / videos / meditations, etc so that you can access these also. A pdf of the resource links is also attached.
I hope that your students find the Wellbeing Journal engaging and beneficial. I recommend getting the pdf printed as a colour booklet 2-sided and bound.
