This looks at the four main long term causes of World War I- Imperialism, Nationalism, Alliances and the arms race. Students have a structured way of learning one factor and then teach it to each other. The lesson then asks students to link these to short term factors, using the Horrible Histories clip, with differentiated tasks to complete whilst watching this clip. It finishes with an exam practice.
The worksheets are included within the PowerPoint slides, just to make things simple.
