This is a second lesson that looks at the features of first person narratives at EXS and GDS

This is lesson 3 in a series of 7. The whole scheme of work is available.

The whole scheme includes 7 full lessons, each fully resourced, and including a detailed PPT. The scheme culminates in the class writing a first person narrative, linked to the original text, using all of the features learned and developed during the series of lessons. The unit begins with a cold task, and ends with planning and writing a diary entry (hot task)

Everything is included, except a copy of ‘Frankie’s diary’ (STA exemplification materials)

This scheme was incredibly engaging and produced brilliant pieces of writing.
