Working With High Frequency Words US: Book 2 is the second book in a series of four resources, which focuses on reading and spelling high frequency words. These resources have been created to complement an early years’ literacy program. The word lists have been specifically designed to meet the needs of students in their early years of schooling, but can also be used to provide additional support for older students. These resources provide opportunities for students to learn new words and/or consolidate known words to aid word fluency.

Every book in the Working With High Frequency Words series contains worksheets which: • focus on high frequency words that students will be reading and writing in their early years of schooling; • include a set of flash cards that can be used to complement each list of high frequency words; • include Look, Say, Cover, Write pages to revise words learned; • follow a similar structure so that students can complete activities independently; • include two additional pages of varied activities to provide a challenge.
