Writing Assessment Tick Grids

These mini writing assessments tick grids help us to identify the evidence that we can see in each piece of writing.

We stick these into books and highlight so that we can easily find the criteria we are looking for and find our gaps. They’re handy for keeping focus when marking, especially for NQT’s and those new to year groups, as they give little reminders of expectations.
