Year 1 English planning based around the story Monkey Puzzle.
The children loved this book and enjoyed retelling different parts of the story per lesson.
This was taught in Term 2 but could be adapted for the children to write more independently.

I enjoyed the planning document and the ideas for the lessons as well as the activity sheets. However, the flipchart could not be opened on my computer - I have smartnote so I'm not sure if it's compatible or if it could be converted. I tried to use other programs to open it with no success.
