Year 12 synthetic routes revision OCR A Chemistry

It can be really difficult remembering all the reagents, conditions and types of reactions for how we make the different organic compounds. They need to remember all of them!

This revision resource helps year 12 students learn and remember all the routes needed for year 12 module 4 of the OCR A chemistry specification The first slide is a complete summary map of the synthetic routes. The following slides have increasingly missing parts that you are to fill in from memory. Doing this every other day or once a week will really improve their recall of these.

Another way to use them is to print them on A3 and laminate so that they can fill them in from memory (great starter!)
