This lesson looks at why we have night and day, and tasks children with creating an oral presentation explaining the phenomenon. There is a large Speaking and Listening element, so the lesson could be carried out in either Science or English lesson time.

It includes full guidance including ideas for differentiation and how to evidence the oral presentations in science books.

The lesson can be carried out as a home learning activity.
