Year 6 Maths Place Value 1

Here is the smart notebook I will be using in Week 1 of Autumn 1.

It contains 4 lessons with the following learning intentions:

Revise how numbers to 5 digits are made.
Reason with numbers up to 5 digits.
Revise how numbers with up to 6 digits are made.
Exploring patterns within place value to 6 digits.

Planning based on NCTEM spine material objectives but is not exclusively tied to it.

I’ve only been in Y6 for a couple of years, but have had a decent couple of SATs results in maths so figured maybe I was doing something reasonable and thought I’d share. If you are a maths specialist and spot any mistakes please feedback kindly!!
