A Year 6 Spelling Bee competition plan based on the Year 5/6 statutory word list and Upper Key Stage Two spelling patterns.
The competition runs over three consecutive days with a big final in the school hall on the Friday. This plan has been written for a two form entry school where the two Year 6 classes compete against each other in the final. It may be adapted for bigger or smaller schools.
