Learning Outcomes:

In this lesson, students will gain an understanding of:

• Free hand sketching
• Gain confidence in drawing freehand squares, rectangles and circles using guidelines, proportional measurement and outline.
• This will culminate in them drawing more complex combinations of these shapes.
• Students will also learn a wide range of subject specific key words that will underpin their design and technology vocabulary.

Worksheets:
The worksheets are differentiated into two categories, with the ‘LA’ worksheets having additional support in terms of the outcomes as well as sentence stems, word banks, etc.
The second category of worksheet has differentiation in the form of more open ended tasks as well as ‘Super Challenges’.
