Poster contents:
Feelings are complicated as they have different intensity levels/sizes so can be organised into 4 zones:

Blue zone incorporates low feelings & alertness eg sad (so need comfort), fatigue or ill (so need rest), bored (so need smt enthusiastic) or depressed (so need to keep motivated & out of comfort zone eg walking w a pet/friend). Body moves slow, heartbeat is slow, limbs heavy & head foggy.

Green zone incorporates calm, alert feelings eg happy, focused, content or peaceful. Ready to learn & handle situations well. To maintain, can take a break, choose a healthy snack, exercise or meditate.

Yellow zone incorporates more stronger, energetic emotions eg stress, worry, excitement, sillyness or frustration. Body may fidget, tense muscles or faster thinking/heartbeat. So need to pause, take a deep breath & collect ourselves.

Red zone incorporates extremely intense feelings & alertness, triggering our flight/fight/freeze response eg feeling overjoyed, angry, terrified, devastated, panicked or out of control. Body may be red/hot/sweating, tense muscles, flushed skin or fast heartbeat. So need to pause, count to 10 & take deep breaths to collect ourselves.
