Zones of Regulation is a great tool created by Leah Kuypers. I have used this as a long standing tool to help children learn about their emotions and how to regulate them. Often it is tricky to think of things to help the children in these zones/ time to create the resource yourself…

Here is the solution! A one page, dyslexic friendly and visual toolkit for each zone. I would suggest pairing it with a ZOR chart in the classroom for children to show you what zone they are in. I will be creating this as a resource soon!

This can be used as an on desk resource, in a calm corner or on the wall for all to see. In order for this to work, you do need to be flexible with what children need. They know themselves best! I also think you can use a talk box and adult interchangeably dependent on the adults in your class.
