Lesson requires students to work together as ambassadors and complete a 3 part investigation into some aspects of the queen. Stick the worksheets in the corridor or room and let them investigate. £ areas are, childhood, attitude to marriage and what she looked like.

Lesson focusses on the novel by Pullman but this lesson can easily be adapted to other novels/poems/texts. Students move from reading to internalising to diary entry writing in a well-structured progress. For lower levels but can be adapted upwards.
