Here are two simple, fun cross stitch patterns to use with KS2 pupils, although they may be suitable for upper years of KS1 also.
The pattern charts are on pdfs. They have coloured blocks. Each block is equal to one cross stitch.
I have also included some basic cross stitch information/instructions and a photograph of the finished picture.
The patterns are stitched on 6 count binca material and obviously can be completed in any colour combinations.
The wing shapes are completed in simple back stitch.
Have fun and I hope your pupils enjoy stitching the pictures.

Here is a simple, fun cross stitch pattern to use with KS2 pupils, although it may be suitable for upper years of KS1 also.
** Dream, Hope, Believe, Achieve**
I have included some basic information/instructions and a pattern as a pdf with coloured crosses. Each cross on the pattern = one cross stitch.
The pattern is stitched on 6 count binca material and obviously can be completed in any colour combinations. The border can be cross stitched, a simple back stitch or left blank.
Have fun and I hope your pupils enjoy stitching the design.

Here is a simple quick to make Easter Egg cross stitch patterns - to use with KS2 pupils, although it may also be suitable for upper years of KS1.
The colour cross stitch pattern chart is on a pdf. The eggs can be completed in any colour. Pictures and patterns are a guide only.

Finished size of each egg: approx: 5cm x 4cm on 6 count binca. If stitched on 14 count aida, the finished picture will be smaller.
The pattern is stitched on 6 count binca material using 6 strands of stranded cotton and a blunt tapestry needle.
