Hi, my name is Mr Saxby. I lead mathematics and am part of the Senior Leadership Team at a 1 form Primary School. I enjoy creating resources and have been uploading them to my own website for many years now. Due to ongoing costs, I am now slowly migrating all my resources to the tes site. Some of which will continue to be free while others will include a small fee. I hope you gain a greater work-life balance with my resources as teacher wellbeing has always been one of my highest priorities.

As part of my role as Maths coordinator and Senior Leadership Team I have created a White Rose Maths Assessment Grid. This is NOT perfect by any means and has been made for our school to help give us a glance at the results in Key Stage 2. Each result is inputted then a colour coded score is given. The scores are in relation to the National Curriculum pass mark and I have used my own judgement. This may help your school to gauge an overview of Key Stage 2 results. If you like this please leave a comment and I will attempt to make a Key Stage 1 sheet if needed. You can fit 34 children on here as that allows for a single A4 sheet. More lines for results can be added and the code for each grid copied.

UPDATE - Changes made to the year 6 scores have now been included. I have created an excel sheet to use as a whole school assessment for the NEW 2017/18 White Rose Maths assessment material. I work as part of the senior leadership team and lead mathematics. This is not perfect by any means but I have used previous SAT’s scores to inform my judgement. This is NOT to be taken as a pass fail assessment material. I found it useful to look at a glance to see children’s results. I hope you find it useful too.

Subtraction worksheet with answers - 3 levels of differentiation KS2 Year 3 4 5 6 Exchange - zero

Here is a subtraction worksheet pack I have created. I have put year 3, 4, 5, or 6 as it really depends on where your class are at and children's individual needs. In regard to the national curriculum, this would be aimed at year 4. It includes place value headings and the use of chilli challenge for children to select their own difficulty. Children must exchange through zero in this activity. I hope you like it! Your feedback is always welcomed. Thank you.
