Perfect for meeting the new PSHE Statutory guidelines, this pack has been created from the popular EC Resources PSHE lessons to match one of the new PSHE Association optional frameworks - the ‘Thematic Framework’, from their model programme builder. KS1 Money PSHE - Year 2
A collection of money themed PSHE resources that have been created to cover the ‘Economic Wellbeing: Money’ section of the PSHE Association’s Program of Study for KS1.
These lessons have been specifically created for use with students in Year 2.
They are also suitable for use in schools who have opted to follow the PSHE Association’s Thematic Model.

A brief history of the evolution of money from the barter system to modern-day currencies.

Spending and Saving
The students will learn at the importance of saving, as well as learning practical ways to manage their money.

A lesson on the origins of Christmas and how it has evolved from the Pagan Yuletide to the Christian Christmas we know today. This pack includes a one hour, fully resourced lesson with PowerPoint, worksheets, clip tasks, activities, all differentiated three ways and editable. The lesson is easy to follow and fully differentiated. It could be used in RE, History or possibly Citizenship.
