Staying healthy PSHE Lesson. A one hour-long, very detailed, fully resourced PSHE lesson suitable for KS2. In this lesson, the students will discuss what it means to have good physical health. We will discuss ways that we can maintain a healthy balanced lifestyle, and discuss why it is important to seek professional help when we have a medical problem. The lesson includes case studies, a match-up task, a video clip with questions, and a ‘design an app’ activity. This lesson allows students to investigate germs, how they spread, and what we can do to protect ourselves. The students will learn about different types of germs, including viruses and bacteria. We will look at how we can wash our hands effectively and why this is so important. The students will carry out a series of experiments that will demonstrate both how germs can spread, but also how we protect ourselves. The lesson includes literacy tasks, match up tasks, clip tasks and much more.
