An Anti-bullying assembly which follows the story of Rupert Grint (Ron Weasley from Harry Potter) and how he was the target of bullying as he grew up and how he dealt with this. The assembly doesn’t just focus on the obvious reasons why bullying is wrong, but also some less obvious reasons which students might not have thought of before, to create more of an impact. The second half of the assembly focuses on respect - looking at what respect means in practice before ending with some helpful takeaway tips. The assembly will last around 15-20 minutes if clip is watched (3 mins) and suggested questions are asked too. Everything is editable. An easy to use 12 mark question peer assessment grid for AQA RS 9-1 GCSE (produced originally for Spec A, but works under the same principle for other AQA specs and is editable). Can be used for any 12 mark question and has been written in student speak based on the AQA assessment materials. There is a space for students to fill in the question being assessed as well as guidance on how to give appropriate peer assessment feedback. A Medical Ethics Unit lasting 12 hours (one lesson is a double) that was created for Year 9 RE, but could easily be used for a capable Year 8 or none-GCSE KS4 group.
