This session is aimed at covering electricity when covering the topic of Health, safety and welfare in construction. This is ideal for levels 1 or 2 for all trades and all learners studying some sort of health and safety.
As my last health and safety presentation on accidents was so popular I have added this presentation on Hazards. This presentation is perfect for vocational or industry based lessons as it's basis is health and safety in the workplace. The presentation discusses the difference between a hazard and a risk and contains a great activity of creating your own risk assessment regarding a large but docile dog!

This is a full session on the topic of parts of a circle and arches. I have used this session many times so that learners can state the components of a circle and construct their own arches. This session can be adapted to your own subject such as maths or any other topic where learners may need to know circle parts and produce curves. I use this session as part of carpentry and joinery/ woodwork/ resistant materials/ construction.

This is a professionally put together sessions I have used many times as part of teaching Carpentry and Joinery to a variety of levels.
This is a professional, well put together booklet for learners to fill out during a lesson.
Each session learners are to give themselves an objective and state what they plan to achieve. The booklet has an example, some ideas of what they could write and words they could use.

This is a booklet for learners to fill in on the topic of Second Fix. This is ideal to cover the whole topic in instalments, in one go or as a revision activity. The booklet suits both Cskills and City & Guilds versions of the Second fix topic. The booklet is 13 pages long and can be added to a moodle or google drive type learning environment or printed out.
By completing the booklet learners should be able to state how to install doors and ironmongery, know how to fix mouldings,
know how to install service encasements and cladding and state how to install kitchen units, worktops and fitments.
I have used this booklet many times and learners seem to enjoy the scenario and the change from the usual activities I give.

This is a session on drill bits and fixings. You many want to set up a padlet page and have some screw fix catalogues ot simular to help with session. This session is perfect for any learners needing to know about the range of drill bits for drill driver/ cordless power tool drills. Also the session is on fixings such as screws, cavity fixings and screws.
This is a set of 15 help sheets to assist in level 2 Diploma Carpentry & Joinery. Each sheet is to be printed double sided- one side has a QR code which brings up a how to video on the task. The other side has a series of steps of how the learner is to attempt the task. Tasks included include how to hang a door, how to fit architrave and a calculation to work out the spacing of balusters/ spindles.
This is a perfect session for any vocational learners that need to know about roof types and parts. This session is based on City & Guilds and CSkills construction qualifications such as L1 or L2 Principles of building. Also this is a great first session on the roofing unit for Site Carpentry.
