A great Friday period 5-type revision activity which uses the power of images to help students both explore and memorise 16 quotations.
The worksheet features 16 quotes from Macbeth with 16 accompanying images. Students follow the differentiated success criteria and annotate the quotations for various shades of meaning.
Includes answers which can be printed separately or to form double sided revision cards.
When they have done this, I allow them to colour in the quotations.

A great way to relieve stress and create a relaxing classroom environment at the end of a long term while helping students embed quotations into their long term memory
I have selected 16 key quotations from Christmas Carol and including a relevant image with each quotation that can be coloured in.
Students annotate the 16 quotations following the differentiated success criteria and annotate the 16 key quotations for various shades of meaning.
After they finish annotating, I allow them to colour in the images.
Also contains drawings of characters to colour in and label with quotations or what students know about each character.
I have carefully selected what I consider the 50 most important quotations from Lord of the Flies and included a brief explanation about why each quotation is important.
They have been put into 10 categories covering characters and themes. Of course, some quotations can apply to more than category.
The resource has an accompanying PowerPoint.
