The second London Games were held in 1948. Again London only had 2 years to organise the games as they were awarded in 1946 after the 1944 Games were cancelled due to WWII. Children research facts and the legacy to be added to the timeline.

Australian Rainforest Animals 2
In this session children take the image of their Australian Rainforest animal printed in the previous session and use it as a starting point for a pastel picture.
Australian Rainforest Animals
Children think about the animals that they know come from Australia and then find out if they live in any of its rainforest regions. Children then look at a list of Australian rainforest animals, and print an image from the computer.
Endangered Animals
In this session children find out that it’s not only the Orangu-tans that are endangered. Children select animals or plants from the lists provided and start to find out more about their chosen animal or plant.
