From my own experiences as a language practitioner, children really enjoy playing battleships and it is an excellent way of practising French vocabulary and grammar.
This pack contains the following eight board games:

- Intransitive verbs (etre verbs)
- Transitive and intransitive verbs (mixture of avoir and etre verbs)
- Verbs that are followed by the preposition 'a' (Excellent for AS French)
- Verbs that are followed by the preposition 'de' (Excellent for AS French)
- Telling the time
- Expressions with avoir (Excellent for IGCSE French)
- Countries and languages
- Different coloured cut out ships are also available with every individual board game with instructions.
Happy playing!
This attractive colouring in workbook is designed for learners of Mandarin Chinese who are learning Mandarin for the first time. After having coloured in the twelve pictures and practised their character writing, they can do the subsequent exercises which follow, including dates in Chinese. This workbook is geared towards students of a stronger ability, gifted and talented students and students whose native tongue is Cantonese or who have been exposed to traditional characters.
This activity is designed for students who are studying two languages at GCSE/IGCSE level and also who are learning dates for the first time. This resource is also geared towards native French speakers who are studying Mandarin Chinese.
Do you feel your students need to revise numbers 1-20, colours, fruit and gender and agreement? Look no further, as this presentation is designed to do so.
The learning of such vocabulary is set in the theme of ‘the twelve days of Christmas’. I have titled it as ‘les vingt jours de l’été’ (The 20 days of summer) as summer is a very popular season for cultivating fruit. As you go through each slide, you sing along each slide to the very same melody, taking the necessary slow singing as you approach every fifth item. The melody changes slightly when you go through the 6th-20th days of summer as they need to have the same melody when the Christmas song sung is sung from the 6th-12th day of Christmas. You will need to change the melody to that when you come to the 6th-20th day of summer.
Also, there are quizzes of different levels and a follow-up story with more differentiated quizzes to follow. This package is designed for Key Stage 1 primary French (native French nationals/ gifted and talented students) and Key Stage 2 primary French (weaker, stronger and gifted and talented students and native French nationals are welcome also.)
This package revises the following items:
Numbers from 1-20
Ordinal numbers from 1-21
Colours
Names of fruit
Gender and agreement
Also, there are differentiated accompanying workbooks attached and the total pack is £10.
Happy teaching and learning!
Here is a presentation for learning members of the family. It is also good for consolidating possessive words and also gender which is why all the words have been highlighted in either blue or pink. This is suitable for teaching Key Stage 2 French as there is a story with true/false questions which consolidates what the children have learnt. Enjoy!
Expressions which use 'avoir' as opposed to 'etre' according to the English equivalent can be confusing for learners of French as a foreign language. This worksheet provides an exhaustive list of such expressions, followed by step by step activities which pushes students to their potential. This is a lower level version where students are asked to translate short sentences. This activity would be ideal for students studying the IGCSE / A-Level / IB programme.

Although learning numbers are relatively easy in Chinese, it doesn't hurt to give your students a fundamental level of teaching and learning. This colouring in booklet gives an extensive range of number puzzles as well as pages and pages of colouring in. The level of this booklet is geared towards students who are becoming acquainted with numbers in Mandarin for the very first time, although the term '两' is not included. It can be introduced at a later stage.

Welcome to Stage 4-2 !
The purpose of this powerpoint is to become deeply acquainted with the formation of tenses and verbs, especially for those who have difficulties in doing so. This is a very good way of introducing the conjugation either when teaching it for the very first time or revision. This is the 26th stage of the learning process and there are 72 stages in the entire process. By the end of the 72nd stage, learners will have a developed a very profound mastery of not only forming nine different tenses which range with complexity upon progression, but also, an exhaustive range of different verbs which have been very carefully divided stage by stage. Upon completion of Stage 9-8, the final stage of the process, will immensely prepare students to pursue with their French studies at university level, where they will inevitably be using tenses. It is also suitable for adult learners, again whether they are learning it for the first time or revision.
This folder contains the following regular '-er' verbs in the pluperfect tense:
Manger
Changer
Parler
Regarder

When showing each slide, there is an audio clip on each new item that you can click on and you will hear my voice which demonstrates the pronunciation of each item, or alternatively, you can lead the pronunciation of each item. It is up to you! The learners will then reiterate the new items every time they see the slide 'This time you try it!' You will be very surprised to see how it will stick in their minds!!
I would strongly encourage you to purchase the follow-up activity 'French: Stage 4: The pluperfect tense', which enables students to manually complete the drills based on what they have learnt. They are £5. Upon completion of Stage 4-8, there are tests also available.
Happy teaching and learning and the very best of luck!!

It can be very confusing for learners of French to become accustomed as to whether agreements with reflexive verbs using a direct object is necessary.
Although it is very long, however I have designed this powerpoint to facilitate students to become acquainted that no agreement is necessary with reflexive verbs in the perfect tense that use a direct object and when no direct object is present, agreement is necessary. I have done this in step by step form by putting all the nine essential pronouns in order, first of all without a direct object and then in the next slide with a direct object, so that learners can easily understand this concept. This is ideal for learners from Key Stage 3-5 level or adults who are learning this concept for the first time or simply revision.
Happy teaching and learning and good luck!
