This fun and engaging game is the perfect way to review the novel the Boy by Roald Dahl. I typically put the class into small groups and ask a member of the group to choose a color and number. That is the question that they have to answer. If correct they get one point. Then I move to the next group. Alternatively the whole class answers and then we tally up the points to get a winner.
I run it on an interactive whiteboard but would be equally successful on a projector, computer or TV screen. Alternatively it could be run for an individual student on their own device.
When you start the game press the shuffle button to randomize the questions ensuring that no game is ever the same. This means that this Jeopardy game can be used multiple times with the one class as it is different every time.
Once you have unzipped the file you will find a PowerPoint Macro Show. To run the game double click the file and make sure you say "yes" to running macros. If you do not the questions will not shuffle correctly. I have tested on a PC but it should work on other devices. If this is your first time with Macros let me know by personal message and I am happy to answer all your questions.

This set of words aligns with the Kindergarten Wonders Reading Program from unit 1 all the way through to unit 10.
This makes the perfect wall display for your students, parents and substitute teachers see what they have learnt and their next steps in their journey. I have used the road to reading wall display in my classroom for years and am always amazed at the positive comments from jealous teachers from other rooms.
I have included in this pack everything you need to get started including A4 and A3 roads, vehicles, trees and of course the houses. The houses come in 4 colors, personally I match each unit to a different color to differentiate them. But you could choose which ever color suits your room.
Simply print the road types that you need for an unlimited design to fit any space and suit any room. Personally I laminate the houses and cars so that they last the year out or longer. I also attach double sided tape to the back of the cars so that the students can move the cars as they progress. They get such a sense of achievement when they do this. The rest I staple gun into the wall.
