The PowerPoint features birds flying on to a tree. In the earlier slides, the birds are numbered and can be counted as they fly in. The second part of the PowerPoint is more challenging as the birds fly in randomly without numbers. Opportunities are provided within the PowerPoint for pupils to practise their counting skills to 10.
Worksheets
There are 15 accompanying worksheets. Tasks include counting objects to 10 and recording numbers, colouring a set number of objects and identifying missing numbers in the 1-10 sequence. Answer sheets are included.
There is also a certificate to award to pupils on successful completion of the unit counting to 10.
