This card game is a simple game of match-up. It contains quadrilateral cards and properties cards. 3 quadrilateral shapes are placed onto the table, and players take turns to place their properties down against them. The first to get rid of all their cards wins.
You can also play this as a matching activity rather than as the rules we created. All properties cards can be matched to the quadrilateral cards. Quadrilaterals included are Square, Rectangle, Parallelogram, Rhombus, Trapezium/Trapeziod and Kite.
The game is easily prepared thanks to easy-cut guides. A full set of rules is included and a cheat sheet just in case players get stuck.

This Algebra card game on the subject of solving quadratic equations by factorising is a great adaptation of a traditional/straight game of Rummy. The cards come in 4 suits, with answers in the range of 1 to 13. So the rules are very similar to Rummy, except that the players can decide and justify the solutions of their cards in order to play. All questions are quadratics, with four levels of difficulty.
Because the different colours (suits) of the cards contain different difficulty of questions, you can also use these cards as a flash card.
The game is easily prepared, thanks to easy cut guides. Full rules and answer sheet is included.

That Algebra card game about Solving Equations is a great twist on a traditional game of Rummy. There are 4 suits of increasing difficulty, with solutions that range between 1 and 13. The twist being that players have to work out the values of x, y, a and b in order to play the game. The cards are set to four levels of difficulty, with the red cards being the easiest and the blue cards being the hardest.
The differentiation of this game means that you can use the cards as question prompts as well as using the rules we created.

Players are dealt cards. A card is then turned over from the top of the deck. Players must choose, from their cards, a solution as close to the solution of the base card as possible. The closest player wins the cards played as points.

This is a quickfire and competitive card game that makes triangle construction fun and enjoyable. It helps to develop skills in being able to construct triangles with three levels of difficulty; given two sides and an angle, two angles and a side, and three lengths. You will need a ruler and protractor for each player.
Break your class into teams, or have each member of the class compete. Turn over a card and students must construct that triangle. First player to complete an accurate construction wins. Each difficulty of card is a different colour, so you can easily differentiate the cards.
Answer sheet for players, and an answer key is provided. Players will need a pencil, protractor, metric ruler and compass for the hard cards.

Geometric Snap is exactly what you think it is. A game of snap where players have to match shapes of the same type. The game is playable in 2 ways, players can match just the shape and avoid colour similarity, or you can throw colour similarity in there as well for double the fun. For an extra challenge, have students call out the name of the shape that matches as the slam their hands down on the snap.

This is a fantastically simple game that really reduces the effort of preparation a teacher, tutor or parent needs to put into teaching how to tell time from an analog clock face. As a card is drawn from the shuffled deck, players have to check their cards to see if they can get as close as possible to that time.
The cards feature differentiated clock faces in different colours. Red whole hour cards, orange half hour cards, yellow quarter-to and quarter-past cards, green five minute denomination cards, and blue single minute denomination cards.
You can include or omit whichever cards you wish for the game to work. We have included all time denominations of a 12 hour clock up to the quarter denominations. 5 minute and single minute cards feature a selection of 24 cards each.
