This lesson was created for a Year 9 group, set 2. The format is done in Power Point so it is completely editable. The focus is on the differences between ser and estar. Students will be introduced to some of the rules that we need to follow in order to choose one verb or the other. This is a very similar resource to the other homework booklet I created: https://www.tes.com/teaching-resource/resource-12276610 The main differences are: This one is designed in black & white to cut down on printing costs. Includes an instructions page and a tracker page to write down the points they get. Also includes a list of rewards they can choose from if they get a certain amount of points. The activities are the same than in the other one. This resource includes: A booklet for students to complete. A presentation with the answers. The aim with this resource is for students to be a bit more independent with regards to their homework. They have compulsory tasks and voluntary tasks. The more voluntary tasks they do, the more rewards they get. It works with a points system. I have included a pdf of the booklet but also the ppt format which is completely editable. Some fonts might disappear if you don´t have them installed in your computer.

This is a worksheet I have created after spending a bit of time on the present (regular and irregular verbs), the past (preterite and imperfect) and the future (includes near future tense). I just wanted my students to do a bit of work on the three tenses together at the same time. The worksheet includes: A mat explaining how the present, the past (preterite and imperfect) and the future (future simple and near future tense) work, including the most common irregular verbs in the yo form. 10 activities to practice answers included.
