Angles in a parallel line Tick or Trash

(0)
Identifying types of angles in parallel lines tick or trash activity. A great consolidation and problem solving exercise for identifying corresponding, alternate, co-interior and vertically opposite angles in parallel lines. Great to use in a lesson on parallel lines as an assessment for learning activity to see if students can identify the types of angles before moving onto finding angles in parallel lines. There are 32 different cards on 4 pages, some with correct answers and some without. Students have to put the correctly labeled angles in the “Tick” pile and the incorrectly labeled ones in the “Trash” pile. UPDATED - A couple of the answers were the wrong way around. This has now been solved. Please redownload if you have purchased this. How to use: Print off the 4 pages of activity cards Cut them out Students sort them into correctly labeled piles and incorrectly labeled piles Suggestions: Do the activity in groups, pairs or individually print the 4 pages off onto one A4 page and students can stick this into the books and use a green pen to “tick” the correctly labeled ones and a red pen to “cross” the incorrectly labeled ones. Netball lesson plan - Receiving the ball on the move (year 7)

This netball lesson is a comprehensive lesson plan for receiving the on the move in netball for beginners. It will be most appropriate for year 7 higher ability netball lessons OR for year 8 lower ability. If you want to assess the quality of my work check out a free lesson on passing and receiving in netball (year 7) here. This was created to save time for busy teachers and is made so teachers with little/no netball experience can teach it just as well as those with lots. You should be able to teach a lesson with minimal preparation and I made these so in most cases they can be just picked up and taught. Each lesson has assessment levels, clear teaching points, afl opportunities and clear explanations of the tasks. There are no timings included as each school can vary in terms of lesson time. They should provide enough tasks for lessons of 40 minutes and above. The assessment levels are old national curriculum levels but the levels can be easily changed to reflect your own schools assessment models. Check out the SOW/set of lesson plans for year 7 here.
