A unit of work focused on the research and development of small sculptures using recycled materials. The work of a variety of artists using this medium can be explored before completing the activity with powerpoints and documents supporting project work and providing step-by-step procedures for teachers and students. PLEASE NOTE: The 7 artists whose works appear in this resource have all given their permission for NGfL Cymru to use a select number of images. Hopefully this will encourage them to use a variety of interesting verbs, bringing their creative writing to life. The lesson contains: an introductory drag-and-drop activity where pupils consider better alternatives, a main game activity where pupils consider a more exciting alternative to a short piece of dialogue and a short poem/song that might encourage pupils to remember possible said alternatives.
