Macbeth Act 5 walk through with LA. Between the slides we read and annotated. This was used to walk through Act 5 quickly in preparation for a formative assessment. Includes work on the tragic hero.

A range of lessons on Act 3 of Macbeth. Looks at scenes 1,2 and 4. Includes activities considering imagery as well as opportunities for extended writing. Used with LA-MA KS4.

An introduction to pre-1914 literature. Looks at context of Sherlock Holmes as well as extract and writing skills. Used with Y8 and 9.

Extensive Powerpoint and a range of links to clips and activities. Originally used with Y10 and 11 for WJEC spoken language, however could be adapted.

A collection of resources used for mainly KS3 but also low ability KS4. Poems include: Dulce et Decorum est Skyman- Kops Who's for the game

Looking at Shakespeare and his sonnets (an introduction). Particularly looks at Sonnet 18 and 130. Looks at iambic pentameter and pathetic fallacy. Information on Shakespearian context. Two version of PP, one for M-HA y8 the other used with LA Y8 (nurture group).

A range of descriptive and narrative tasks for use with KS3 or 4. A number of pieces focus on using an image as writing stimulus (new AQA)

Differentiated writing to describe activity with video. Students found this very engaging.
