An accomplished secondary school teacher, I went on to qualify as an ESOL / EAL teacher for adults and young learners. I have several years experience teaching ESOL classes and one to one lessons, both face to face and online. I enjoy making resources that are tailored to meet the particular needs and level of the student.

English in Maths 8 - Angles and triangles

A Powerpoint presentation for teaching vocabulary used in maths related to angles and triangles. Primarily for use with EAL or ESOL students in school but could be used with adult learners of ESOL or Literacies who are working on numeracy or maths skills. Included in the presentation is a link to my vocabulary wordset in Quizlet (angles and triangles vocabulary), enabling the use of online flashcards and matching games and tests. There is also a gap-fill exercise based on a You Tube video by Peter Weatherall and a sorting activity. This is part one of my English in Maths series.
