A quick vocabulary revision activity for GCSE classes to revise key verbs. There are fifteen sentences and pupils must choose the verb which makes the most sense in the given context. Each sentence also contains an A* writing construction which pupils can note and use in their own work.

There are lots of useful phrases to help with describing the photo itself, as well as lots of complex language and Grade 8 constructions for pupils to include. A longer writing task on the topic of school aimed at KS3 / GCSE - it requires knowledge of the present, preterite and immediate future tenses as a minimum. There is a GCSE style question, with a model answer and structures to find within the text. There is also a translation in English which pupils can then retranslate into Spanish for practice before writing their own.
