There are lots of useful phrases to help with describing the photo itself, as well as lots of complex language and A* constructions for pupils to include. The structures and language are in groups: phrases to introduce a photo, past tense expressions, weather phrases, A* constructions to include, useful connectives, opinion phrases etc. My own pupils have found this very useful and it provides an excellent scaffold for them producing high quality work.
